Due to inclement weather - the event will not take place at Rockingham Park at the Crossroads this afternoon. Instead, please join us at AVA Care (833 MLK, Jr Way) from 5pm-7pm for food, fellowship, and to turn in your pledges and collect your prizes!

ABOUT THE EVENT

The Move for Life is back in-person this year - and at a brand new location - Rockingham Park at the Crossroads!

The Move for Life is an annual fundraiser and family-friendly event that celebrates life. Funds raised at this event enable women who believe abortion to be their best or only option to receive relevant testing services, education, and hope during a very difficult time. Your participation ensures that each woman who walks through our doors receives professional and compassionate care.

Each participant is asked to find sponsors who will pledge specific amounts of money to AVA Care. You don’t have to collect the money, we’ll take care of that for you. All of the money raised goes directly to providing valuable services to women facing unintended pregnancy in our community.

**Every participant is expected to raise and/or donate a minimum of $50 (or $150 per family) for entry into the event. 

FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES

$200 Prize Level – AVA Care short-sleeved t-shirt and 2 entries into Dinner and Movie for 2 or Massanutten gift card drawing!

$500 Prize Level – AVA Care short-sleeved t-shirt and 5 entries into Dinner and Movie for 2 or Massanutten gift card drawing and a premium beach towel!

EVENTS OFFERED

1 Mile Walk / 5K Run

Participants who prefer a more low impact activity may select the one-mile walk as their event of choice, while avid runners may choose the timed 5K!

We hope that you will plan to stay around afterwards to enjoy some fun activities, a light dinner provided by Horizon Christian Fellowship, and sweet treats donated by local vendors!

Regardless of your activity, remember to bring your AVA CARE SPIRIT!!!
